i am just really turned off to the divisions thing after baseball. i barely made the playoffs despite being better than all the other division's teams.

ESPN's format looks great. Weekly head to head, with a max of 40 games played per team, per week. Daily roster updates. Looks nice. I'll get it going.

You can't have more than 82 starts at any one position, so you can't stream players like crazy and build up counting stats.

like theres PG, SG, G, etc slots. each one of those slots, you only get 82 total games played per slot. once it hits 82, you just stop getting points for it

that didn't matter though because of the avearaging.

yeah i definitely prefer daily updates. I think I'm gonna go with this ESPN format. it looks really nice and the point scoring is just slightly more advanced - you're hurt by bad FG% and FT% which makes it a little more realistic.

why set it to more than that? it's default like that. then it doesn't reward players who just rotate their rosters like crazy but rewards people for smart decisions and benching/starting accordingly. most i'd want it to go would be 90.

Basically you're given an amount of money to compile your team (normally 200). A person will nominate a player to bid upon, and the league members will bid upon that player. The person who has the highest bid for the player after 30 seconds gets the player.

I suggest checking out one of ESPN's mock auction drafts for fun and to get used to the setup.

The problem with ESPN leagues is that everyone shows tons of interest, and you have to get email addresses to fill the league with invites, and then I ask for email addys and NOBODY responds. just got kinda sick of it. we'll make the pay league a free auction if you want to respond with an email address if you're not already in that league.

Yea it does suck, it's nice having Brevin Knight on the team though. I may be alone on liking Ronnie Price but he had some big games for us last year.
