View Full Version : What is your favorite band?
NickLopez

Just the one, please.
I did search; however, all the other favorite band threads have some sort of criteria (favorite band on Drive-Thru, favorite post-rock band, favorite 90s band, etc). I just want the one above all else.
I'm going to use this for two things. I'm going to make this into a poll, where these favorite bands are put up against one another a la John's Rock Tourney going on right now. For the poll to be relevant, I need no criteria and only one band. If you give more than one, I'll either just pick one or disregard your post.

Band? The Fall
Artist (band, solo musician, duo, etc.) in general? Bob Dylan

I've grown to love Dylan to death. Took me a while.

How does this same thread continue to get made daily?

How does this same thread continue to get made daily?
..the search function says there was one two months ago. I need something more recent for this to work.

well, this topic has been done countless times in countless threads, but whatever. I'm going to get mine in before the obligatory "search function n00bz0r" posts start turning up.
band(s): the Lawrence Arms, The Pogues, Lagwagon, The Replacements
artist(s): Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle, Bob Dylan

If one can direct me to a thread in the last month, I can close this one. I don't really care.

Why does it have to be in the last month, other than the fact that you are running the same thread in general.

That is the thread I am referring to, and that thread one) is not asking the same thing, because it has specific criteria and two) ends up diverging from what it asked. I'm going to use this for two things. I'm going to make this into a poll, where these favorite bands are put up against one another a la John's Rock Tourney going on right now. I'm also interested in seeing how the responses in this thread stack up against the responses in another, nearly identical thread going on in the General forum. For the poll to be relevant, I need no criteria. For the comparison to be relevant, I need a more recent one than one from several months ago.

I don't mind either, but people do. So keep this thread open if you want.
