I dont have a good explanation, I just wanted both. Temporary Residence Limited was selling the hand numbered/screened edition and I bought one. I also bought one from Thursdays website. Color me a fanboy.

This is really, super, good. I like the direction thursday is going in with this release. Envy is a great band also, but I haven't listened to their songs yet. I've just had thursday on repeat.

To me, it sounds like a progression. The instrumentation is much more complex, the production is raw, the music rocks harder. It's like they took everything good from all of their records and compiled it into one awesome recording. They also are leaning more towards the post-rock genre. Out of the four songs on this split, two of them are purely instrumental, with no vocals at all. And they kick ass.

My cousin loves Envy but hates Thursday. I however love both bands, so I rub the fact that they are doing a split.
