Wishing for the way it was

Just a simple question, do any of you who are currently in college ever wish you could go back to high school just because it seemed to be a lot more simple and you had less responsibility at that moment in time?

I don't know, there's just sometimes I wish I could go back. :/

everybody feels like that sometimes, you always remember the good times but you can't live in the past. Try to enjoy every moment as it comes, live in the here and now. I'm telling you frfrom personal experience if you only live in the past it'll just make life a living hell.

Yeah sometimes but I really don't have that much more responsibility so it's not that bad. Plus I didn't get to have too much fun in High School outside of my senior year so it's not a major loss.

this is my last semester of HS and i'm almost scared to let it go. there's always a part of you that wants it back to the way it was, but if you keep looking over your shoulders, you'll miss what's in front of you.

I feel exactly like that sometimes. Its just nostalgia though, I mean there were parts of high school that sucked, but all I remember about it is being able to play 3 sports with my best friends and all the other good stuff. I tend to forget about the boring classes, etc. So yeah, there are times when I wish I could go back, but I'm not really sure what to do about it...

College isn't different for me than high school because my school is so small and everyone that goes there is all up in everyone else's shit, but the closer I get to graduating it's kind of scary the new responsibilities I'll have. Plus, I have to pay for most everything now and that wasn't the case in high school.

sometimes yeah. It freaks me out when I think that this is what is "preparing me for ADULT life" and that in 3 years I'm going to be graduated university and stuff. but I think it's just the normal uncertainties of growing up and stuff. don't get me wrong, I love uni and I had an awesome time in high school but yeah, sometime I wish that my biggest problems were passing some weeny quiz....

Its weird because I was just thinking of making a thread like this yesterday. I TOTALLY agree with you Kara. I have wished I could go back to high school since I started my first day of college. Tomorrow Im starting my 4th semester. :( Life was so so so much easier in high school. College is no fun at all.
