Wow, a few years ago, Taproot was my favorite band. Their first CD "Gift" was incredible. I really enjoyed it. The songs that stood out for me are "I," "Again and Again," and "Smile." I love his voice actually.

When I was listening to metal a few years ago, these guys sounded great to me. I never heard anything like it because of their emotional screaming and not the growly metal screams I was used to.

But for those of you who were more "in the scene" at that point might have passed on Taproot, but they had me going for a long time. I think my CD got stolen though or I lost it. I can't find it. But I got their next CD "Welcome" and it was in my player for a while, but not as long as their original. They were called "art metal" by few critics. I recommend them. And I wanna hear their new stuff, it's been awhile.
