The Receiving End Of Sirens (www.purevolume.com/thereceivingendofsirens)- - It has come to my attention that WAY too many people haven't heard of this band...that will end very soon. I strongly believe they will be the break out artist of 2005 and I am absolutely dying to see kid's reactions to their Triple Crown Records (www.triplecrownrecords.com) debut release, Between The Heart And The Synapse.
As Tall As Lions (www.astallaslions.com)- I've been listening to ATAL since back when they called themselves "Sundaze". They are easily my favorite Long Island band and their cd Lafcadio is a must own. I really liked their demo a lot, so if anyone can get a hold of those songs, do it!
The December Drive (www.purevolume.com/thedecemberdrive)- Chill rock for a rainy day. TDD consists of super melodic melodies and spacious guitar riffs, any 'emo' person should fall in love with them. Oh yeah, they shouldn't be unsigned either.
The Classic Crime (www.purevolume.com/theclassiccrime)- I think i've recommended them before, but it's worth a second time. Produced by Casey Bates (This Providence, Gatsby's, Forgive Durden, etc.), their disc is a refreshing dose of straight-up rock, as opposed to a lot of the poppy type bands Seattle has been producing. I suggest you check them out.
