Yeah. Thats pretty tight. I hate it when you get all excited about going to the Warped Tour and then later on you find out that the band you mainly want to see is leaving the tour like right before they get to your location. That happened to me last summer.

I Hope this is true if so you or Dj Rossstar, whoevers around gets i trillion scene points from whoever has that many.

Hell yeah, It's about time they started over here in the East Coast, I hate waiting all summer for the tour cause I usually take a road trip with a couple friends and go to about three Warped Tours. This year we'll go in the beginning of summer and we don't have to go back to college right after the Warped Tour. :wink3:

That happened to me last year with NOFX. So i took a bus to Cleveland and went there. I'm going back this year too. The set-up is actually pretty sweet there for a Warped Tour. And Cedar Point is an hour away. You can't pass up going on a Thrill Ride that shoots you up in the air at 120 mph on a track that is up 90 degrees and then back down 90 degrees.

Well they dont have to go. They can go to the new Linkin Park Jayz or Brittany Sears concerts

All they need is two small Ferris Wheels at the base of that thing.

No, never. It always hits the east coast area last. Also, I edited my post in case you didn't notice. It originally just said "Hipv is playing" but I put Boys Night out in there too, becuase they were just announced.

hahahaha i love your fake emails, Nate. The picture for that looked like a giant condom for me haha.

I hope HIPV will be playing the East Coast, otherwise I'm road tripping this to Detroit or Cleveland or something

I've never seen BNO play even though they're always in Ontario..Something always fucks me up.

Yeah dude take a bus to Cleveland it's like $130.00 CDN to get there and you will be pleased with the set up of Warped for sure.

You don't want to see them live. The lead singer is always "sick" giving him an excuse to sounds absolutely horrilbe live. Thats at least from my experiences.

Warped Tour this year starts in New Jersey, which it has never, ever done before. Ever.

Let's see....

My Chemical Romance? Nope.
Fall Out Boy? Nope.
Transplants? Nope.
Boy's Night Out? Nope.
Mest? Nope.

Thrice is the saving grace for this tour right now.

In my experience its been like 50/50. Half the times I've seen them they've been horrible, but the other half they've had an awesome live show. I dunno...its either really good or really bad.

awesome. i don't know what stage they're playing for sure (hipv), but they might get a little main stage exposure, since they've played smartpunk before. that would be great for those guys.

It's funny, last year I thought the show wasn't going to be that good, because I'm used to staying at the main stages for the most part. But last year for the first time, I think I was only at the main stages for Coheed and Taking Back Sunday. The smaller stages had AMAZING acts: Audio Karate, From First to Last, and Rufio. I even got to check out Socratic and since there was almost nobody there, I got to talk to the bassist. (On a sidenote, I got to see HIPV with very few people, and although I'm not the biggest fan of their CD, they put on a great live show).

So I would tell people that just because the bigger bands might not interest you, wait, 'cause the smaller ones might just blow you away.

Last year at Warped there were maybe 6 people listening to HIPV. Look how times have changed...

I missed boys night out last year cause they didn't show.. Them and Thrice are enough for me to dish out the 40 bucks this year.

I dont think HIPV is mainstage material just yet.... maybe maurice stage.

And BNO are not very great live. their new songs were pretty boring.

ForeverInADay
01/17/05, 09:00 PM
I saw only one song from BNO live ever...well not even one the ending half of the last song and it sounded pretty good, i got to talk to the guys before and after they're really nice. i just hope i dont miss them this year. or they play a couple of local hometown shows.

Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Thrice, My American Heart, Boys Night Out, Hidden In Plain View, this is shaping up pretty good (in my opinion) except for Mest and The Transplants. they dont fancy me.
