Someone's spammed my email address all over it apparently,

I don't really know what it is but apparently that's baaaaad, why would someone do that?!

get a new email address, and if you use the same/similar password for that email address anywhere else, change it.

I don't think they got my password,

They just posted my email address on the "random board", I've only had two adds I think, one telling me and the other saying we "met on a nice chat" haha.

Is it seriously that bad?

You may want to check out a nice witness protection program just to be safe, your life and loved ones are no longer safe where you are now.

I'm not new to the internet, I've used it for years, just never been hXc enough to go on 4chan, although I've heard about it.

It's just when I told a couple of mates about my addy being spammed they were like, "shit, that's bad, why would someone do that".
