Are you guys working on songs for your next album, and if so, how are they different or similar to "They're Only Chasing Safety"?

Just wanted to say that I love you guys, your music is awesome.

Question: What do you guys think is the best part of your live show?

Peace.

Q. how does your faith affect touring, live shows, and especially your music???

How did you come up with the Choir idea (drowning in my sleep) for "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door"?

will you ever develop a gimmick like the vampirism from my chemical romance or maybe matching black shirts and pink ties?

Frank Giaramita

A lot of people called them "the biggest sell outs of 2004"...ask them how they feel about this and if they have a response to these claims.

What inspired you to write Some Will Seek Forgiveness......? I go to a catholic school where i played it for my religion class. My religion teacher loved it and asked if i could burn him a copy of They're Only Chasing Safety. You guys have shown me that you can listen to hardcore and still remain faithful.

When you were thinking of what to name the band, did every name you guys picked sound stupid, and you all just finally agreed on one, or did somebody say it and everyone liked it?

is it possible for you to stay out of just ONE thread that involves a band you don't like? Do you think question will actually be asked? No. You just come into threads to act like a jackass, there's no other reasoning behind it. It's tired and old. Find some other way to give yourself a boner.

i have already told you about my ideas brandon...but as for this band...frank i believe said alot of people are calling them the sellouts of 2004...ive changed my views on the term sell outs...but they did change ALOT since thier last album...i guess as your mature as a band you're must changes...but thier music didnt mature, it sounds about like everything else out there i've heard...so as for 'sellouts of 2004' no...disappointment of 2004...yes...but im happy for them, it's good to see a band that i used to book back in the dizzy and would have about 25 to 30 kids show up...to be where they are now. so good luck to them

how is being immature and rude having a good time... no one else seems to think it is besides you. u dont have to like bands/people and/or agree with them, but respect them on here. i wont stand for since less bashing, if you dont like something say it in a constructive way.

Question: Are you still friends with old singer Dallas Taylor and do you dig his new band? I have always wondered if the "new" songs you played last winter in a little hell hole in Rochester, NY when you were like and hour late if they were songs you had with only with Dallas or if they were any of the songs that are on the new disc.
Good luck on your tour with RAR and keep doing what your doing, good stuff..

First of all, I love UnderOath and look forward to seeing them on Taste of Chaos.
My question: How are you dealing with your sudden success, considering the last record was easily top 3 of the year? Oh, and do you think the next record will build on that, or are you going Brand New style and evolving to an amazing level?

First off, amazing band, one of my top albums of 2004.

Second, what made you come up with the idea for the album artwork? I absolutely love the idea. I did a part of the CD Cover for an art project in school.

what was the inspiration behind it's dangerous business...and how does the line "now you can walk hand in hand with him" fit in? is that about god? and the drowning in the sleep...what's that a metaphor for? i really want this song just completely explained, because it's amazing but i want the story behind it.

You are very involved in your religion obviously... does this have an affect on the way you can connect with your fans? For example, do you feel you can connect more with the Christian ones than the athiest or Jewish fan?

Here's my question...

Do you feel any type of pressure from your fans who are not christian, that while they love your music, do not want a religion forced upon them?
That's one thing I really love about They're Only Chasing Safety, is that other than "Some Will Seek Forgiveness", I wouldn't even think that you were a christian band.

First off i love your music and you guys, keep up the good work......here's my question(s)

At the church u attend, how do people there take towards your music with the screaming? do other christians think it is a bit out of the christian sterotype because most christian songs are quite mellow and peaceful....because people from the church i attend heard your cd and they instantly wrote it off as satan worshipping death metal.

Also what is your favourtie song on There Only Chasing Safety?

Thanks

HAHAHHAHA nice one man. People need to stop hating on Underoath... I liked them back in the day when they had Dallas and they are awesome now with their new vocalist. I think that all of the changes they made were for the better and they definitely did not sell out. They are a unique band now and I think they have their own distinct sound.

jerkstore20
01/18/05, 08:59 AM
Ask them why they sold Dallas out over a girl just so they could capitalize on an obnoxious screamo fad.

For the record, they do it better than most, and the live show is still very good, but come on, a new singer doesn't naturally change your sound that much.
