if your talking about alexisonfire...then i agree 100%. watch out isnt very good. does anyone know if they mix it up when they are on tour now? like new and old songs i mean. ive never seen them, but i'd only want to if they didnt just play watch out.

emanuel is amazingly generic...buuuuuuut i still like the cd, they do the generic screamo well. i dont get why people make a big deal about this band though. woulnt they rather listen to bands like head automatica or underoath? to me this cd is a blatant rip-off of both of those.

You may like it more, but if you honestly think that AOF's self-titled is better than Watch Out!, then you're an idiot. Better production, better song structure, Dallas vocals have greatly improved, the entire cd flows together, and they were able to include more traditional punk influence, as well as add some atmospheric elements.

Adelleda and Pulmonary Archery are still my two favorite songs of theirs, but honestly Watch Out, song for song, is so much better.

ya with lines like "listen up mother fuckers" to open a cd, this thing screams out really friggin good. also when a band sounds just like underoath, a static lullaby, letterkills (but better) it doesnt exactly scream out unique, and if you dont hear the head automatica influences you must be deaf. this band is a mix of underoath and head automatica, like i said before...i never said they were head automatica. there are clearly parts on this album meant to sound like a party or dance song. i have the whole cd also so i know whether or not its good. i said its good. i also said its generic and a rip off, which it is. that in no ways means its not good.

I have seen the black maria and alexisonfire live, man this will be a crazy good show...considering both those bands are from the GTA (roughly) I would be surprised not to see a couple of Canadian dates thrown in there...thats me hoping. Yes alexisonfire will play old stuff too, they always seem to so...also check out Dallas in toronto and hamilton playing solo with sleeper set sail and raising the fawn.
