From First To Last's Remixed Album Now In Circulation

Beau Burchell's re-mixed version of From First To Last (http://www.fromfirsttolast.com)'s album, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count, is now in circulation. There is no way to tell the difference between the first version of the album and the second one until you hear it. For a preview of what it sounds like, the music video version of "Ride The Wings of Pestilence" is Beau's version.

that sucks, i don't like the video version of "ride" near as much as the album version. i think beau is an amazing producer, but i really loved the original mix of this.

A lots of albums on the back will say who it was produced by and mixed by so I assume it would have Beaus name on it so you could know if it's the new version or not.

I didn't notice any difference in the video version of Ride The Wings of Pestilence. I'll have to listen to it again. I want to hear the remixed version though.

I haven't heard it but I know that different mixing can make a good amount of difference and it should be noticable.

i believe the only way to get beaus mix of the record is at their merch booth on tour, the pressing that is circulating in stores is only going to be the original mix. this was the plan as of a while ago anyway.

they actually arent trying to fuck over the fans. they got stuck with a shitty mix and when beau offered to do it why wouldn't they?... i know that once they found out he was starting to mix it they stopped production on the old version. if they are just trying to make it better i dont see why its fucking the fans. i like fall out boy but their new cd is kind of trying to screw fans cause those 2 "new" tracks on there have been around forever and its a waste. but fftl.. no

Actually it doesn't. This may seem like a huge coincidence but i just bought the from first to last album yesterday because i was waiting for the beau version and i finally gave up waiting, but to my pleasant suprise the version i picked up was the beau version. The songs do sound quite a bit different , some songs were better on the original and i feel some of the new ones are better, it's about 50/50. The overall thing is that the beau version is much cleaner sounding than the somewhat grittier sounding original.

I got mine in a store but it was used so i dont know if that will help any. Also all the art work and production credits are the same as far as i can tell so there isnt really a way to tell the difference between the two.

i called HMV and they said that the last shipment they got of FFTL's cd came in 2 weeks ago...do you guys think that would be Beaus mix?
