Out of the ones listed, I'd go with either The Goonies or Labyrinth.
But my favorite would have to be Batteries Not Included. Closely followed by Short Circuit. My 80's were all about family friendly sci-fi.

Not that I was alive during the 80's... but the Goonies.
I just watched it today!

thats cause the 80's was the best family friendly movie era, without having to pussify everything. I mean you never hear ppl talk about how great family movies from the 70's were, I mean none even pop in my head besides disney stuff. And while the 90's had some great family films, it was also the Golden Age of Political Correctness and irresponsibale parents blaming media for their kids problems, so some movies could've been better. However the Sandlot was a prime example of being family friendly with some edge. But yeah the 80's had it right

The 90s also had the Three Ninjas series. I picked the Goonies with Karate Kid a close second

No lol I've loved Pee Wee's big Adventure ever since I saw it for the first time. It's a classic. I seem to laugh uncontrollably every time I see Large Marge make her insanely funny face...But the fact that Pee Wee made his own butter for his popcorn just makes the movie even funnier when you watch it cause he's already goofy enough.

I'm assuming that stands for Back To The Future. In which case, it definitely should have been one of the choices.
Also, what about The Land Before Time? Raise your hand if you cried..... come on.... :-p

Tum Tum was my fav. I won't eat dog poop! I used togo around that house and say that all the time. Whenever my dad took us to Blockbuster each week we almost always rented one of the Three Ninjas movies. My sister hated it but my brothers and I couldn't get enough. I haven't seen them in years

From that list Roger Rabbit just beats Goonies, but Back To The Future would beat both of them.

Eddie: I'm tired of taking falls, I'm bouncing off the walls. When I get done I'll have some and kick you in the...
Roger: Nose!
Weasel: That doesn't rhyme with "walls"
Eddie: No, but this does (kicks Weasel in the groin)

given the lack of Back to the future, definitlely pee-wee.
i'm still working on my own breakfast machine, but having danny elfman's music on repeat for that long keeps killing the batteries.

Probably not. I guess that's why my opinion here should count for more, seeing as how I'm an old fart and I saw most of these movies in theaters and was old enough to actually appreciate them. :-p

Nope, I grew up in the 90s, but I still watched all these, especially since all my cousins are in their 20s. Plus, Spanish is my first language and I don't think the more recent movies were translated to Spanish.
