Make Like A Leaf And Fall Tour (Danger Radio, Farewell, Brighten, Red Care Wire)

Last night, saw this tour. Arrived at the venue around 4:30ish. It was pretty packed. And female infested. My friend and I were the last ones to get in. With that, there was over 100 kids outside waiting for people to leave so they can go in. However, each band played acoustic outside for everyone after the show.

First band was a local called Destiny Or Design. I've seen them a couple times. If you like Envy On The Coast, I suggest checking them out. It's like their baby brothers. Plus Ryan Hunter sings on the EP. They didn't really fit the show, but because local band This Condition dropped, they played last minute. They played a lengthy set.

After them was Red Car Wire. They might be some of the biggest tools ever and sounded like a Blind 182 rip off band. This would be a good example of Image > Sound. Here's what I have of their set.

Timing Just Isn't Your Thing
*I didn't catch the rest of their set because I was interviewing Justin Richards of Brighten outside*

Brighten came on next. This was the main reason I came to this show. The crowd didn't know much except for this fat girl who was dancing. She looked gross and really made a fool out of herself. I writing out the interview as I type this. Some really good question answers Justin said. I also suggest checking out their new EP "Early Love." It's some really good relaxing pop music.

Farewell took the stage now. Around six members on the stage. I've seen them one time before this show. They play a decent set. The vocalist always sounds really good. Here's their set.

Danger Radio played last. I wasn't really their for them/didn't really pay attention. I left after they played "Broken Man" because that's my pump up song. Anyways, the show was sub par. If you like hanging out with 13 year girls and their moms, go for it. Oh and The Vibe Lounge is a terrible venue btw.
