this is my favorite album of all time, one of the few albums i have owned for 10 years and still listen to on a consistent basis. great review as usual.

edit: the fact that i have owned this for 10 years scares the living shit out of me.

I'm not sure yet, I think I might do Rites of Spring next. I also struggled with what I was going to give this...I wasn't sure about a 10.0 or not, but now I kind of want to give it one. I dunno.

Wow dude, good review on an outstanding album...but I'm sorry, I just completely don't understand your reviewing system anymore. not to be an ass or anything, but Jawbreaker gets a 9.7 while The Arcade Fire (http://www.absolutepunk.net/reviews/showproduct.php/product/542/sort/7/cat/17/page/2) gets a 9.9? Eh. Not in my book, not even close.

Haha, I try to give them all separate of each other, but I do want to give this a 10 after thinking about it for a while...meh, I suppose I'll cave. And to be fair, The Arcade Fire is that good.

This album is amazing! Why would Ryan have to justify his decision? After all it's a matter of opinion anyway. I wonder why people don't understand that concept. O well. Good Job!
