I have to agree. When I watched it I cringed because it was so bad. It looked as thought he forgot the words to his own song.... yikes!!!

Oh, well, still like some of their songs and I can't wait until they record a new cd this one is so dated already.

the music part was pretty tight..... vocals ion first verse were the worst ever. forgeting words to your own song is just lame. especially when instead of singing you mumbled incoherently. buit i thought the guitars sounded really loud and good. mike's screams were kinda gay too... though

Well I think Senses Fail is very mediocre.


Keeping that in mind....

The band itself performed very well, for what it is. So dont hate on them.

Buddy did look like he had taken lessons from the Ashlee Simpson school of dance at times.

However, as far as vocals go, live TV performances almost always fuck up vocals due to the way the sound is processed for broadcast. Even the best vocalists can sound like shit. It looked to me that when he took his mouth even a few inches away from the mic, it totally dropped his vocals. Thats not really his fault, because most live vocal mics do better than that. Like I said, its all in the processing.


I also think some of you kids just talk shit about these guys because you think its cool to hate on them.

honestly compared to plenty of other rock and scene bands i've seen on tv........it was really good minus the vocals in the beginning. To say that the whole thing sucked whether you like the band or not is pretty thick minded. I think buddy was actually on almost perfect the whole song besides that, and yes...no matter how good a band sounds live...on tv it goes straight through the mixing board...so you don't hear it like you would through a PA when a good sound guy puts reverb, delay, and all that snazzy stuff on vocals and instruments...as well as the acoustics of the room.
