Went to this show tonight and it was decent. Other bands that played where Confide, Attack Attack, Show Bread, A Static Lullaby. I got to the show late and only saw A Static Lullaby, they were ok not great but not terrible just whatever, the only thing that I remember from them is that they covered the Britney Spears song Toxic haha.

Maylene came on and they sounded ok, not the best time I have seen them but there was plenty of energy, at first the sound was kind of off but it sounded good after a song or two. I have seen them like 5 or 6 times but I never noticed that they had 3 guitarists. Have they always had 3 or is that something new? It was a fun show, but the crowd was fucking retarded. It was (like usual) a bunch of rednecks that think they are tough because they are at a hardcore show or whatever. About 12 of them (not exaggerating) jumped one of my friends for no reason and I didn't see it happen, but it was just fucked up. They were trying to follow us and shit back to the car, but there were literally like 20-25 kids vs just me and my friend so there wasn't much we could do except drive away, plus security was getting on us too. So nothing really happened but these rednecks were the biggest bunch of assholes I have seen at a show. Anyways besides all the bullshit it was a fun show, not the greatest set list ever but here is what I remember (not in order):

Memories of the Grove
Dry The River
Plenty Strong Plenty Wrong
Darkest of Kin
Raised By The Tide
Wylie
Death Is An Alcoholic
Dont Ever Cross A Trowel
Tough As John Jacobs
Gusty Like The Wind
Acoustic Instrumental (I think it was The Day Hell Broke Loose at Sicard Hollow)

Encore:
Caution Dangerous Curves Ahead

As you can see there were barely any songs off of their fist album that they played, they might have played one or two more but I really don't think so. It is actually really dissapointing looking back, this is their headlining tour and the didn't play some of their best songs. The fact that they ended with that acoustic song pissed me off so much, if they didn't play Caution... I would have been so pissed, the fact that they saved it for an encore though is bullshit.

Overall it was a fun show, but it could have been much better, I'm definitely glad I snuck in though instead of paying $15.

yeah I was extremely dissapointed on getting only 3 songs off the first album on their headlining tour, that is redicoulous, I doubt Caution... will even be in the set when their 3rd album hits

I think they said in an interview that they're moving away from the harder sound of their first album, so that's probably why they play less old songs.
