Since it barely existed on the page, here (http://www.absolutepunk.net/reviews/showproduct.php?product=588) is my review of Jawbreaker's Dear You.

just wondering...what's with reviewing old albums? everyone already knows these albums, and they're mostly all criticaly aclaimed as being part of the punk rock cannon, if there was such a thing...i mean, dear you and the the shape of punk to come, two of the greatest CDs ever made...OBVIOUSLY good cds...just wondering...

That's not true at all. The majority of the kids on this site think Tacking Back Sunday started emo. It's really important for a review like this to establish how it started with Rites Of Spring and Embrace, and moved on to bands like Jawbreaker and Sunny Day Real Estate. I'd take a review of an album that came out and made an impact, rather than some shitty Drive Thru clone, or 3rd rate Taking Back Sunday. I've had enough of that garbage, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
Anyhow, amazing review on one of my absolute favorite albums of all time.

haha, that's a big generalization. that may have been the first "emo" (i hate that term) band they listened to, but that doesn't mean they actually believe they created emo. I didn't listen to Sunny Day Real Estate when they were popular, but that doesn't mean I am unaware of their significance.
