Hey,

You're the only guy who's going to be able to help me, so I'll skip asking anybody else. My mod on my blackheart has hit an issue, the 3 way bypass switch I put in 2 or 3 weeks ago now. It's developed a sort of "crackling" sound, but it's not constant. It generally happens after 25 or so minutes of playing, and isn't persistent after that. It occurs when I hit a note, and not before or after. I'm not at my place at the moment, but I was thinking I'd throw a recording of the noise up for you to hear what I'm talking about. It sounds almost like a bad cable, but I've been trading those in and out and I haven't found that to be the problem. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks!

You should probably check your solder connections to make sure they're good. Any way you can show me the schematic after the "triple bypass" mod ? Does this happen in all 3 settings ?

Also, sign up for an account on SEWatt.com , those dudes know everything about single-ended amps.

I checked the solder joints, I'm going to check my speaker actually though. I realized that this had started at a show in August, as my piano player was like, "yo, this isn't new." I feel it's a simpler problem than I initially thought. Thanks for the address though, I'm on that posthaste!
