So the worst way to die thread gave me this idea. What was the most physically painful thing to ever happen to you? I would have to go with the time I got hit by a fucking car. I was standing in the grass off to the side of the road and some old lady who couldn't drive swerved into the grass and slammed right into me. Broke both my legs. This was about...5 years ago. So lets hear yous.

Well i can't top that but u kno that very extremly small space between your temple and your eye? someone hit me with a hockey stick right there. i got 3 stitches for that one. i guess that was more of a close call than a painful experience, but it hurt just the same.

I have gotten injured so many times in odd ways it is ridiculous. I work at Home Depot so I am constantly getting hit by wood or hammers. The car thing is the worst by far though.

3rd degree burns all over my right foot. I dumped out a huge kettle of boiling water out at work and didnt put the splash-gaurd into place, even though there was a huge ass sign right in front of my face. It hurt...alot. Emergency room and everything, woohoo.

Set fire to gum on the bottom of a desk at school, when it started flaming badly I tried to smack it out with my hand but the flaming gum stuck to my hand and kept burning. When I went to clean it off before all the yellow pussy shit came out I was pulling off what I thought was gum but it was actually my skin. That sucked.

I collapsed a lung somehow. I don't smoke or anything so the doctors have no idea how it happened. They had to open me up and stick a tube into my lung to take the liquid out and try and reinflate it.

Also I got side swiped by a trolley but I wasn't seriously injured in that one. And no the flashing red lights weren't on.

Many more too. Those are the two most recent ones. Both within the last year.

i've never broken a bone before, which amazes me because I've had some pretty bad wipeouts on my board. i have bruised my collarbone before, really badly, after a trick went bad during one of my first big air comps. the snow patrol had to come and get me in front of thousands of people as i was laying there like a retard. i think it was more embarrassing at the moment, but i had to wear a neck brace for 2 weeks and I couldn't sleep for the next month. it hurt contantly though, like a constant throbbing.

I broke my foot last year playing soccer. Well, to be specific I broke my 5th metatarsal. :)

I went up for a header by myself and just landed on it wrong and *snap*. It's taken about a year to recover from it. I was in a cast for 8 weeks, on crutches for a total of 3 months. I broke it in October (Halloween to be exact) and then ended up getting surgery in May because it wasn't healing quick enough. It's been a serious bitch.

i was being a drunk ass and dropped a full bottle of something (i don't even remember) on my big toe and managed to crack my toe nail into two and broke it in several places. plus since it was a toe, my doctor said they could do anything about it unless it was pointing a different direction so i walked like a gimp for over a month in pain. it sucked

Break my foot really didn't hurt that bad at first. I just felt a snap in my foot and then it hurt to walk on it. I had never broken a bone up to that point, but untl then I expected breaking a bone would hurt a lot worse than it really did and I broke mine completely through.

The worst injuries I've had have been broken bones. I've broken both my wrists, one of my toes and my right index finger about 3 times, but that was when I used to play basketball.

Yeah dislocating stuff hurts like no other. I have a bone thats out of place on both of my knees, and they dislocate really easily and I have to wear kneebraces all the time. This kid ran into me from behind in the hall one time, and one knee popped out, then the weird movement caused the other one too. I almost puked cause it hurt so bad. And I was still recovering from major back surgery at the time.

a burton troop, and my grandma just got me new burton bindings 2 days ago (for no reason!) so now i need new boots because the toe cap on the bindings doesn't really fit my current boots. what about you?

This kid threw something at him (not on purpose) and it wouldve missed him, had he not try to evade it. he got it right between the eyes and had to get stitiches. the doctor said if it hit an inch higher, he woulda died, an inch lower, it wouldve knocked out his teeth, and an inch to either side and he wouldve been half blind.

well this isn't that bad either, but over xmas break this year i went home to see my family and i saw an old friend from highschool.. she tried to lift me when she was hugging me and fell over. Her car door was open and the side of my nose where the nose connects to your face was punctured by the dull corner of her car door. An 8th of an inch deep probably.. i had to go get it glued together cuz you could pull it apart and see the muscle.

Most painful? I guess I would have to say my ankle sprain. I was dancing in my living room and slipped and fell over a bookbag and I went down. I heard a giant snap in my ankle. And instantly my ankle swelled up to a size of a baseball. I went to the hospital and they just put a bandage around it. Within a day my entire foot turned purple.

But in the middle of that injury, I smashed my head on a school locker and I was bleeding from my head uncontrollably. I didn't feel it though. I kinda numbed out from it. But I mean afterwards it hurt a lot.

When I was 5 I busted my elbow in 3 places and hit a growth plate and I had to get Medi-Vaced to another Air Base (I Lived in Japan at the time and I had my own airplane Hell Yah) and I had emergency surgery. Then When I was in 6th Grade I Broke my leg skiing (2nd time skiing) and had a spiral fracture all the way up my tibia so I was in a full leg cast for 4 months. I have plenty more but those are the worst ones.

-have in total about 40 stitches in my head from numerous accidents
-lost most feeling in my bottom lip from putting my teeth through them three separate times
-dislocated my left elbow twice

but the worst has to be when i was in grade 8 and my friend kicked a basketball and i went to catch it.........when i caught it i thought that i had stubbed my finger, so i kept on playing........my friend was like "Matt look at your hand!"....when i looked at my hand i saw that my pinky was hanging on by about 1cm of skin......closest i ever came to fainting........it turned out the in addition to the pinky, i had broken the ring and middle finger.......fun

I reckon the most painful injury would be anything to do with your head or eyes ergh.
Though about a year ago I went out with a couple of mates and I decided to bring out my knife because I thought we'd get attacked by pedophiles.But in the end I took it out and rested it on my bottle of vodka, then forgot I had put it there so it was pointing straight up and I put my hand down only for it to go straight through the top of my hand.
Hoho I had to have an operation but we convinced half of my year for about a week I'd saved my friends from being stabbed :lol2:

most painful? spring football 1st scrimmage 1st play and i go to block a D-end and start to turn but dont pick my foot up so from my femur up i turn from there down i dont. so i tear my ACL, MCL, the two cartlidge meniscuses are shredded, and the cartlidge which is on the end of my femur is also torn off and shredded. between then and surgery i had to push lumps of cartilidge that jutted out back into my knee. and in surgery they had to drill holes in my femur to get new cartlidge to grow. according to one of my doctors the only thing i could have done to make it more painful was have an open fracture.... knee surgery sucks

2 Things:

1. I was 7 and ice skating for the first time and fell cause I sucked and some guy tried being cool and jumped over me. Bad part was that he didn't completely make it over me and ended up slicing my head open with his hockey skates.

2. This past summer I was playing basketball and the entire apparatus fell out of the wall and on top of me and cut my hand down to the bone (I could see the bone...kinda gross) and cut my head open.

I kind of broke my arm/shoulder while snowboarding, that wasn't too cool.

- broken pinky (someone stepped on it on a bend, i have a permanent 9 degree bend at the middle of my finger)
- broken tooth (jumped on a shovel, hit me in the face,... i was 6)
- Broken wrist, ripped tendons (diving for a football, hit a pothole with my wrist)
- stitches right above the eye (some asshole threw a rock at me)
- stitches in my middle finger (opening a pocket knife)
- broken right foot (tried to jump a scorer's table in basketball, didn't make it)
- stitches between my thumb and index finger in the fold of skin... ouch..(metal garbage can shut on it and cut my tendon).
- I have a really bad back and used to throw it out all the time. That always hurts pretty bad..
