uh...i saw Hero, i really wanna see House Of flying Daggers, only cause Im sorta into indie films, hero is a good movie, its kind of like Crouching tiger hidden Dragon, in the sense that they can fight while flying, its cool, i liked it a lot.

seriously Hero was the worst movie of Summer...I really think getting it in China for 2 dollars on dvd was a much better deal...and this house of flying daggers doesn't look much better.

I saw House of Flying Daggers last week, it was pretty good, really sad. The fight sequences were amazing though. Just gorgeous...the setting was beautiful too, even though it went from like snowy mountain to bamboo forest to something else entirely like every other scene. I'd recommend seeing it though.

I borrowed an imported Hero dvd from a friend who had the movie before it even came out in the U.S. the cinematography is amazing, but I don't know about the story. I liked it, but I wouldn't have spent money to see it. I'm curious about House of Flying Daggers...

Hero was made in 1993 by the way...

I have yet to see both of them. They're both on the list though. Another foreign film I want to check out is Howl's Moving Castle, the new Miyazaki movie (it's being released on June 10 in the U.S. by the way).

I'll bet anyone who's liked these would like Casshern.

I thought Hero was amazing. From the special effects to the Buddhist symbolism. Awsome, awsome movie.

House of flying daggers is awesome, even if you can't stand subtitles. Action, romance and ass kickery... good film.

I watch loads of Anime so subtitles dont bother me. After a while I even forget they're speaking in a different langauge.

There's something about Japanese Films, Games and Cartoons that I really like. I can't put my finger on what it is but they're really cool.

Yeah, I liked it a lot. I don't think I've ever seen another movie where the use of color stood out so much to me.
