well it's one of the only times players are putting their head down going down the field while the opposing players are coming right at them. the speed and the angle players usually hit on kickoffs tend to lend themselves to those types of injuries.

yeah, i was skeptical of Flacco being taken so high .. but, after seeing him so far, I think he's got the potential of a legit franchise QB. Great investment by Baltimore.

its going to take a few years because the roster is going to need to be rehauled, but I think Baltimore is in good hands with some of the young talent they have. Flacco, Ngata, Grubbs, Suggs and Gaither are great guys to build around. I'm skeptical on Ray Rice as an every-down back, but he can be a good change of pace.
