I was very suprised that their hasn't been a thread made.

I've just more recently really really got into them. Went in to buy Atom Heart Mother (PF) a couple weeks ago at Best Buy, but they didn't have it so I walked out with KC's debut album.

Anyway, great band...i'm interested in hearing more. Probably was going to go chrono. unless there is others I should check out first?

great band, i've appreciated your avatar of recent

i only got into these guys while, as usual, trying to dig deeper into my understanding of the many majestically manic ways of split enz, especially their very early sound. which somehow led me to these guys

like most people probably, i started with in the court of king crimson, which really is a work of genius, & slowly became endowed with their sound & style. i also have red, larks' tongues in aspic & lizard, all of which i enjoy

i no longer have it, once i deleted all the downloaded music off my computer, so the only stuff on here is stuff i legally own, i lost it

so its been a while since i've heard it...i think....February?

i will, but i kinda have an odd mentality about it, i just need to be able to own what i listen to...i even stopped using Pandora

Either way, I'm a fan.

I used "Paint.Net" ... it's a free DL. I just took the art of it from the open vinyl, created a blank space to the left of it, and then "rubber stamped" the background across the space to flow with the rest of it, and then threw some text on top of it.

No I hear ya...I used to listen to AHM a bunch then I stopped 'cause I wanted to buy it before I heard it again, to increase the anticipation/because that's how I am too.

My new roommate just let me borrow Larks' Tongue In Aspic and I think I actually like it more than the debut. It's a lot louder and more dissonant and chaotic. Good stuff.

In the Court is tremendous. Nothing like it out there today. Greg Lake is such an underrated vocalist.

I listend to 'ITCOTKC' for the first time in a long while, in my car last week. I really enjoyed it, it's a good driving record, but what i've noticed is that it doesn't have the lasting power like that of many Pink Floyd albums. I loved it at first, listened to it a bunch, but now I never have the urge to listen to it. I suppose it's due to the fact that some of the parts in the album are too catchy/poppy sounding, and that their isn't much substance in terms of meaning.

I'll still have to listen to at least 1 more KC album before I write the rest of their music off, and it'll probably be 'Red'.
