Johnny Carson was a true legend and inspiration for people like me who are trying to entertain people. Whether it be radio or TV he has influenced so many of today's entertainment sources and I suggest you check out some of his work if you are unfamiliar. People like Johnny, that believe in themselves and what they want to do helps people like me continue their dreams as I am doing with my radio show..

Damn shame. I read the article about him sending jokes to Letterman. It's strange how one moment a true icon is in the news for something like that, and then he passes away. It's a shame. Carson and Ed McMahon were the classic late night twosome. You couldn't beat them. I don't think anyone will ever forget Johnny Carson. I know I won't.

not ever seeing carson, i can't say much about him, but i know he is a legend.
and i know i left out conan, but that's because everyone loves conan. i think he's a bit overrated. funny, non sequitor humor is still very much in style and effective, but kimmel's deadpan dry wit both impresses and entertains me.

They're all funny, and I love em all, but I mean......letterman, he not only can interview celebrities, but also heads of states, politicians, and the layperson.

Carson Daly is the best interviewer ever. Not only is he the master of cutting-off his guest's boring stories (Who would want to hear from Dave Chappelle or Lewis Black anyway?) , But he can also replace their stories with his better, exciting, ones.
