Idiot. Not only does this band sound nothing like the Mars Volta they are coming from completely different places musically and started at the same time if not before The Mars Volta did.

Although I was not a fan of thier latest album I am a huge coheed fan. And the Volta do not care about your opinion about them being pretentious, its not their fault their musicians can play their instruments

I'm pretty sure he knows that, what he was saying was TMV are way better than Co and Ca, which is an unfair comparison becuase they sound nothing alike. In all fairness though, TMV kicks Co and Ca around in every direction possible.
