Favorite Resident Evil game?

Did you just put Chronicles up there as a formality? Either way, 2 for me. Had the best story, best characters and was just awesome to play. 4 comes a close second though.

I'd never even heard of it, but thought i'd put it up anyway.

And 1 and 2 both scared the shit out of me. 3 wasn't as scary, but whenever that fucking Nemesis showed up I nearly pissed my pants. It wasn't like you could see it coming, like the game would cut to a scene or anything; that fucker just slammed through a wall and started beating the shit out of you.

It's an on-rails shooter for the Wii I think. There's been loads of spin-offs. I used to have a game called Resident Evil Survivor for the original Playstation. It sucked though, so whatever.

And yeah the first 2 scared the shit out of me too. I remember those dogs coming through the window in that quiet room and I just ran like the fucking wind. Then in the remake I was all ready for them, and they didn't turn up. That's when I knew that game would fuck with me until I die.

4 is one of the best games of all time. I couldn't put it down, I stayed up till 6am playing that game. Hopefully Biohazard 5 blows all of them out of the water.

well you get it, I don't even have to play that game to know it's the best/most offensive. Look at the fucking storyline lol.

I'll never forget playing through the first one; it was great, like watching a long horror movie. Part 2 is definitely a high point (the different story paths are classic), though part 4 is hands down the best gameplay. Shit, it's kind of a toss up for me.

I never played 4, which is a travesty. But I LOVE 3. It's the only one I've played multiple times.

I also really liked Code: Veronica. I think that's a really underrated game.
