has anyone out there heard of this band/album? one of my all time favorite albums. highly recommended.

I've definitely heard OF them, just not heard them.

I'm sure they played Glastonbury the year I went, although I could be wrong.

i gotcha. ummmm kind of older death cab to a degree. definitely riyl my bloody valentine or low. they're basically british shoegaze, so riyl drugs. this particular album is very spacey and mellow.

Ah well if they're British I could be right about Glasto, I think my mum's partner likes them. Or she does, I'm sure I've seen a CD lying about, I'll have a listen at some point.

If you like Spiritualized and you haven't heard Spacemen 3 yet, you best get on that shit. IMO Spacemen were far superior. The Perfect Prescription is one of my favorite albums of all time.

oh fuck yeah, thank god someone knows of them on this site. the perfect prescription is a fantastic album, but for some reason i find myself more inclined to listen to spiritualized. jason pierce can do no wrong.

This is being performed in London on October 12th and 13th. Is anyone actually excited about this or is everyone on the internet too buys going apeshit about the Stone Roses reuniting?

This band is awesome. Their new record is awesome. Pure Phase is awesome. And goddamnit, Ladies and Gentlemen is awesome. Love the opening track, "Broken Heart" "Cool Waves" all of it.

Spiritualized is a good band. Not mindblowing, but I'd be excited to see LAGWAFIS live. I bet you don't like Spacemen 3, either?

Anyone picking up the re-release. It looks fantastic, I just cant pul myself to spend over $150 on an album.
