this band is god awful.
The Lonely Position of Neutral was my jam back in the day. Them and Chevelle were the only nu-metal/radio rock/whatever you want to call it bands I enjoyed.

Im curious to hear what the new stuff is going to sound like, Lonely Position was so Underrated. True parelles however sucked
True Parallels didn't suck. I thought it was a good follow-up.

i saw them last night. they're still great live. they played a couple new songs, both really good and really heavy.

just picked up the album from best buy and listened all the way through. first impressions: very emo influenced. i heard some armor for sleep, beloved, ataris, etc. tc has some of their heaviest material on this, but at the same time, they have far too many ballads. I was really into the top half of the album and the second half was hit or miss. standout tracks:
Reverse & Remember
Close Your Eyes Til It's Over
Heart In My Hands
Almost There (Intro reminded me of Armor for Sleep, could not put a finger on what the rest of the song reminded me of - whole song is very familiar)
Dreaming in Black & White (main guitar riff reminds me of Beloved "Death to Traitors")
Skies Will Burn

not too shabby! i might pick it up! i <3 trustcompany! the singer has SUCH a great voice. its really relaxing & raw at the same time.

he had some badass screams on this record. well actually i don't know if it was him or the guitarist (when i saw them live they both belting out some screams.)

i dunno. i don't think they were touring, maybe just playing a few dates to try to get back in the swing of things. i did see them awhile back though open for papa roach. me and friends actually went specifically to see trust co.

This album is very, very solid. I was happy that they reformed and now I'm happy with the record they produced. I just hope that their label pushes it because it has songs that i'm sure many people would like.
After the first 20 seconds I wanted to skip Reverse & Remember, but I didn't and now I think it is one of the best songs on the album- well, if Stumbling wasn't on it.

I agree with you. A lot of their guitar work on the album sounds like other bands. That's what surprised me the most, musically it didn't sound like Trust Company- in a sense, but Vocally it's TC no doubt.
