Anyone into these guys?

I bought their most recent cd after listening to two good tracks on the flash card. Why is it that everything else on the cd sounds completely fucking different? The rest of the songs lack the energy of "SpyHunter" and "Oblivion". They just went a whole different direction after starting the cd off strong. Fucking borefest. I might try to give it a second chance though.

hmm well, i have heard spy hunter. it was ok. kinda like nu metally tho.

interesting topic...project 86 used to be one of my favorites with their self titled release back like my freshman year of high school and also with drawing black lines that followed a couple of years later. they released truthless heroes on a different label other than tooth and nail(cant recall which), but it failed horribly and now they're back at tooth and nail. good band, i enjoy them from time to time...but another one of the many bands that will be stuck in the black hole of tooth and nails past. i see underoath, anberlin, mae and well that's about it, making label jumps and being successful with it.

Did you at least like Little Green Men? You're right tho the cd isn't as intense as expected. One Armed Man from one of the old ones is awesome.
