OK, so you dont have to bash craig, just which is better chiodos or cin sun? CHIODOS but cin sun isnt bad

I still like Cinematic Sunrise, but I like the heavier Chiodos songs over the softer ones, and I see Cinematic Sunrise as a pop-punk Chiodos.

I like Chiodos more cause they are heavier but CinSun is pretty sweet!
They're two different bands playing in 2 very different genre's. Don't see why you would compare the two other than craig sings vocals in both.

though, if i was stuck on a desert island and was forced to listen to one of them to survive, i'd go with cinsun. mostly so i wouldn't have to hear craig's pathetic attempt at screaming and his off-key vocal solos. LIKE WE NEVER KNEW EACH OTHER AT ALL.

Until the re-releases, I would have said CinSun; the six songs on the EP were perfect. However, the two new songs are both throw-aways in my opinion, and Chiodos has proven they can not only create ONE full length, but multiples.
And Craig Owens will never top "Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute In The Creek."

they both have really different sounds, so i guess it just depends on how my mood is. i listen to either one or even both probably everyday. cinematic sunrise is really soft and gentle compared to chiodos its so different of craig, because if even the slightest bit oh change happens to the music itself, his voice completely changes. chiodos is really raw and powerful, cin sun is equally powerful but i think craig shows alot more range with cin sun. either way its tough but for today, its probably gonna be cinematic sunrise.

my friends were really into them a few years ago and i remember my best friend telling me that craig has "try to stay afloat in shallow water" (saves the day) somewhere on his body. that may be it.

I like most of the stuff Circa Survive puts out, and aside from their association with Alternative Press and touring with lackluster acts I don't get where all the hate comes from. I do dislike that most of the fanbase are scene kids who actually believe they're listening to "Experimental" rock, but I still enjoy what they put out.

If anything I'd say they've gotten better, especially with more use of orchestra and more technical guitar playing. Different from other scene acts, sure, decent band, nah.

in a way, i guess. i don't think they've gotten better, but they've at least expanded their boundaries, regardless of how much of a flop bone palace ballet was. respectable opinion, though.

Cinematic Sunrise.
I really love Cinematic Sunrise. I got into Chiodos late - Bone Palace Ballet. I was really into them for awhile but recently I've found his voice a little grating at times... I still spin BPB occasionally though.
A Coloring Book... on the other hand, is brilliant and I just keep coming back. Particularly with the 2 new bonus tracks.

I saw them sunday and was about as close as you were. Best concert i've ever been too. Craig Owens is amazing.
