today i was walking in downtown chicago, and i see three men walking in front of me, the one in the middle looks familair, i get to the side of them and i say "oh my god" the man turns around and responds with "oh my god" its tom delonge! he's in town for the angels & airwaves and weezer show tomorrow at the allstate arena in rosemont il. we talked about how i first saw him in 2002 on the pop disaster tour with green day and he laughed saying that was along time ago and that those were the days. i gave him directions to where he needed to go, he was looking for a store. and we went on our way!

I've been about to buy +44's a few times but then decided I didn't feel like spending the money. everything I've heard about the breakup makes it impossible for me to like Tom and Mark's pretty cool. I think he also produced the MCS album that has been one of my favorite albums since I was fifteen so he gets bonus points there too. :-)

I think tom was serious to be honest with you... I mean if the songs had been like the stuff blink-182 I wouldn't have, but he wanted to be taken serious. that's another thing that gets to me... how can you talk/sing about the stuff he did in blink-182 and then in AVA he's supposed to be someone else? he's so fake...

is it really?? i over listened to the first one and i cant listen to it anymore, even when i try to i dont finish it ya know? so i stopped following them and never heard much off the new album cept for everythings magic and secret crowds which were good

It doesn't really compare to the first one.

I mean I liked it, but in all honesty I've probably only played it through about 15 times, and I've had it ages, I listened to the 1st AvA CD like 30 times in the first week, this one just isn't as good in my opinion.

Their second CD is way better than their first CD, and I really like their first CD. They really came together and found their sound on I-Empire.

yeah, two of them are interludes, so it has the same amount of "songs" just more tracks. I bought all four of those CD's too, plus Jack's Mannequin, and Rise Against.

I met Tom at Warped Tour this year, i have liked Blink 182 since i was 10 years old. 12 years in the making. It took about 2 hours to get up to him and i had knots in my stomache the entire time, i got up to him plannig on saying something to the effect of "Your music has defined me as a person" but i just starting bawling like a 12 year old girl, it was embarrassing. haha.:blush:

Well, I think it's just that the label kept paying for the domain because they are still quite popular. You can still get links to buy CDs and stuff off of the site, so it must be making SOME money. It's a weird feeling being on the site though, kinda like being in an abandoned house. It looks well kept, the same as it was when it was in use, but there's still this weird feeling I just can't explain as well.

Naw, no merch. If you ever do find any, give me a PM though. You can't even buy CDs directly on the site. It's just for marketing now. Of course, it's not actively updated so I doubt the label is paying much for hosting.
