yeah so i know this doesn't exactly have anything to do with this post, but it's pretty much a drive-thru question so here goes:
i just read the interview with richard, and in all the interviews i read something is said about 'trouble with senses fail' or 'the situation with senses fail', and out of sheer curiosity i was wondering if anyone knows what said 'trouble' and 'situation' were. i know about how they released on vagrant and everything, but does anyone know the STORY?
thanks dudes.

Alot of people have heard about this like a million times and are probably sick of it but whatever. Senses Fail apparently got grabbed up by Geffen from Drive Thru via their deal together. Senses Fail made "Let It Enfold You" but Geffen didn''t much like it. They may have wanted better radio stuff, who knows. So as time passes on the record has been done for awhile and the band is getting sick of waiting for it to come out as they are constantly on tour and had begun playing the new material to fans. As their impaitence grows the album is "mysteryously leaked" and in interviews the band encourages fans to download the record for free. THe band also seemed to blame drive thru and geffen and wanted to get out of business with both. After who knows how much wheeling and dealing, the band got dropped and picked up by vagrant, and this was first reported on www.frequencyreviews.com who also had the first free download from the new record available for "Buried A Lie". Drive Thru seemed to have been blindsided by this because on a post on the Drive Thru web page weeks before the deal, stephanie said that it although she and other record execs would like to have the power to grab bands from other labels, that this was legally impossible. But a few weeks later Senses Fail was on Vagrant and finally "Let It Enfold You" was realesed about a year after it had been finished. The End. People, If there is anything I left out, please tell me. and I apologize if you never wanted to hear about this again but deal with it.

thanks man... yeah i know that story, but i just don't know why drive-thru hates senses so much now. it seems like that was all legal stuff that was out of their hands. oh well.
