So I made a decision this year to watch 31 horror movies during the month of October. One a day, the rule being that you can watch some in advance in order to get it done but you can't fall behind.

Anyway, I know there are some horror buffs around these parts and I figured that you would appreciate my attempt. I know most people can't watch 31 movies in 31 days, but I thought even if people could watch a couple of the films, we could discuss them in this thread. The thread will prolly fail hard, but I'll put it out there as a challenge to see if anyone can try to do it with me (even though I posted this a day late)

The other thing I feel the need to mention is the lineup. I made this list for myself, so it includes movies that I love and movies that I have never seen. If you want to alter for yourself, we can certainly still discuss the movies, even if they differ between lists.

Here's the schedule:

1st - A Nightmare on Elm Street
2nd - The Blob (1988)
3rd - Jaws
4th - Fright Night
5th - Hellraiser
6th - The Thing (1982)
7th - Se7en
8th - Evil Dead
9th - The Fly
10th - Creepshow
11th - Scream Trilogy (yes, all three)
12th - House on Haunted Hill (1959)
13th - Friday the 13th
14th - Frontier(s)
15th - Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
16th - Freddy Vs. Jason
17th - Psycho
18th - From Dusk Til Dawn
19th - Frogs
20th - Jacob's Ladder
21st - Shaun of the Dead
22nd - Gremlins
23rd - It
24th - The Shining
25th - Dawn of the Dead (1978)
26th - The People Under the Stairs
27th - The Exorcist
28th - Alien
29th - Poltergeist
30th - Donnie Darko
31st - Halloween

Eraserhead
Mulholland Dr
Inland Empire

unconventional horror movies but scary in every way.

Glad to know someone else does this. I don't have it scheduled out like you, but I've got vague plans for what I'm going to watch.
