i would surely vote for the first two, but furious five... i don't know
when i listen to k-rock, the furious five is like korn, godsmack, and occasionally green day
but then again my chemical romance and coheed were on the list one night...

That's a good video.

Nice concept for a video, though I would've liked the ending a lot better if Nolan sang the last lyric.

I wanted to like this band. But I saw them live and they damn near put the entire fucking room to SLEEP. Most boring live band EVER.

Albeit they're not the most energetic band on stage, I definitely wouldn't say they're the most boring live band ever. I enjoyed their show. Couldn't get into Hot Rod Circuit for the life of me though. Maybe just 'cause I was waiting for SR. Oh well.

its not just the lack of energy. michelle nolan looks thoroughly uninterested in being in a band.. thats just what i think :-x

I thought they were excellent live. The sound was great, and why would anyone expect to see them jumping around all over the stage? Their music isnt exactly reminescent of Fall Out Boy or anything of that nature.
As for Hot Rod Circuit, I think they put on a great live show. I don't think they get enough credit for their work.

john nolan always talks about radiohead and how he loves them and thats awesome, if there's any band you should try and emulate, its radiohead because with every album they give you something new.
but on that note, SR's next album better be fucking way out in left field then...if they dont deliver on their sophomore release with something more amazing than this record (which I fucking love), they're no better than tbs as far as progression
im only saying this because i love SR, but I love John Nolan more than that and hope for the best for him

When i caught Straylight a few months back i thought they put on one of the best shows i'd seen in awhile. The way they hit every single note and played everything in perfect sync is refreshing to see. Yeah they might not get the teeny boppers going with the Giutar swingin' and shit but you must give them some credit. When it's much needed i should say.( In my opinion of course.)
Go see them in a small intimate venue while you still can. Then watch them from a balcony if it's at all possible.

I think that Michelle is very pretty and talented, but I have to agree with you.

Straylight Run is the best band to come out of the East Coast in a long time...
