For those of you unsure of who you are going to vote for/what the difference between candidates viewpoints is, here's your chance to see where you stand (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/page?id=3623346). This basically takes quotes from each candidate, but does not tell you who said it. Some of them are really easy to figure out who said what, but it's still kind of interesting to see if there are any views that the other party has that you may agree with. At least give it a go to see where you stand if you aren't for sure.
I got Barack Obama, Chris Dodd, and Dennis Kucinich.

I took this, and I agree with Obama 75%.
I've taken it multiple times over the past couple weeks and I've always been between 75-80% agreement with Obama.
And I always score the highest with Cynthia McKinney, hahaha.

Glassbooth:
Ralph Nader : 79% ( who I voted for in 2004)
Cynthia McKinney : 78%
Barack Obama : 73%
but as a finance major i only agree 56% and 44% with Nader and McKinney but 65% with Obama so that means alot to me

Why is he crazy? I mean it really is unfortunate in these times that we're juding outward appearance so much instead of the issues. I'll totally agree that he lacks a lot of social grace but I believe it's just because he's so smart. I suggest you see An Unreasonable Man. I think it will open up a lot of people's eyes to the real ralph nader.

i got biden, gravel, and obama......but that's probably because the foreign policy and energy questions are limited.....there's no "let's get all our troops the fuck out of the middle east right now" option or an "all of the above measures would be best" option on energy.

i never bothered with checking out his politics, but he must be decent enough if he popped up number 2 for me.

The only thing I don't like about these is they don't include the candidates record or intangible stuff. Like, for instance, McKinney's lovely history.

i know who he is . (i voted for him in '04) by crazy i mean somewhat paranoid and really passionate about what he feels even though he comes out of nowhere.

Love your avatar. I'll agree Kucinich was the best Dem candidate (Gravel was pretty good too), but Kucinich shows zero spine when he just backs down from the unfairness to candidates like him in those debates, and then goes on to eventually endorse the Democratic candidate and sticks with the Democratic Party. He also says that he's the one that has brought up those issues and that should be enough (implying people like Nader shouldn't run). Kucinich just doesn't do it for me in those respects.

i had obama, clinton, and dodd. the last question, about the experience, was sort of leading - given a lot of senators were in contention. all other policy points and qualifications being equal, the type of experience is sort of trivial when it's among governor/senator/etc. at least, in my opinion.
