Bass drops/808s

So I always see/hear people saying you can find 808s all over the internet, and I have searched. After multiple attempts, I can not find any decent ones. Anyone know where I can find some? Or better yet know how to make them?

Define what you mean,

Do you mean the drum machine? Roland 808?

And are you looking to buy a real one or get a VST plugin?

Cubase comes with a 909 as standard if that's any help.

I'm basically just looking for audio files that I could drop into songs. I don't want to buy anything.

What program do you used to record? Does it support vst instruments?

Right now I use garageband. I just realized Reason has some though.

Yea Reason has decent stuff that comes with it already but you can get plugins

the reason refills have some nice 808's.
or if you're looking to stay in GB, they have the jam packs- i've never seen them though.
