So the show actually was at the Boardwalk? That would have been rad to see, it's such a small venue compared to the rest of the tour.

I'd heard they'd moved it to the Empire.

you wanna talk about small venues, the place their playing at tomorrow is small, el corazon, its awesome but small.

How late is the show goin?

i'm probably gonne have my friends get me tickets and then pay them back. i'll have to tell my parents that it's a b-day present so they will say yes.

anyways, i'm absolutely dying to go to this

Okay stop the thread.

1. You're a 17 year old dude
2. You need your parents approval to go to shows?
3. You want to go to this?!

I think All Time Low shows always end way too early. My show ended at like 10:30.

i know, it's stupid. it's really just because i'm going to 4 concerts, 4 nights in a row and they usually get pissed when i do that.

and why do you care that i want to go to this? so what if i like this music

Yeah there was a lot of confusion on whether it was boardwalk/empire for a while, I really don't feel a difference between the two because empire doesn't have a barrier either, it feels the same

We have a later show than normal tonight at El Corazon. Show starts at 815 so I would imagine it would go like this:

815-845 Every Avenue
9-930 The Maine
950-1030 Mayday
1050-12 All Time Low

as of last night in Portland yes. 14 songs no Stay Awake, Break Out!, or Circles:(

From what I've noticed, other than a couple hundred people (haha), the biggest difference between the Boardwalk and the Empire, is the Empire tends to sound like shit haha.

The soundguy at the Boardwalk is extremely good at what he does, and makes that little dive sound pretty good 95% of the time.

Question: Has anyone seen who comes out and grabs all the people for the early entry?
Cause my friend is giving me his ticket as a birthday present, but you need an id to get it and I was wondering if it was like Matt Flyzik or someone.

someone who works for the venue... not the tour manager, what sense does that make?

mayday parade, the maine, and every avenue are doing an acoustic show/meet and great at the mall right down the street from my house in a few hours. i'll try to get a setlist from mayday and every avenue. i don't listen to the maine though

gurrentzy321
11/09/08, 01:28 PM

Not a huge huge fan of All Time Low, i saw them maybe 2 years ago in philly and their stage appearance was just immature. I'll see if they've changed or not but judging from the concert promo pic i doubt it. I do really want to see The Maine, Mayday Parade and Every Avenue. their albums are real good, i think. I'm going to the Nov 28th show at starland ballroom

definitely not, but I think most of the stuff is funny...probably not appropriate for the age group that most of their fans are though....but oh well I guess...their songs are good and they play them well live so I guess they can do whatever they want and I will continue to go see them haha

It sucks for the kids who went with the parents. Alex went a bit far with getting that girl to flash him. Got kinda old. Lucky Im old enough to go alone :D

But it reminds of blink and honestly I like it, ATL is my favorite band to see live, next to blink. I've had a flippin blast all 5 times I've seen them.

thats the problem you see..

all they are is a poor poor immitation on stage of blink. with the jokes and what not

the songs are actually pretty damn good if they just cut the crap and stopped trying to be blink, nobody can compare to them haha

I don't think they're purposely trying to be like Blink182 onstage at all. They're 21 year old guys being goofy (occasionally a little perverted), and if you talk to them after the show they're just as goofy offstage.

i really felt the blink connection at the beginning of this band, but lately they haven't really been using any of the same jokes or anything. They are just like any other band doing stupid stuff, blink isn't the only one. And I saw a clip of them at the Woodie Awards and Mark introduces them and is all like "The song I wrote with you BETTER be your first single!!!" It was pretty funny

Sassyback was okay...I'm going to Sellouts on Saturday in Cleveland.
Friends of mine who have gone to both basically say that the amount of screaming fourteen yeur old girls is about the same at both tours. d: I'm preparing to have my ears blown out again. (:
I'm REALLY pissed that ATL cut Circles & possibly Break Out! Break Out! ... those were two of the songs that I was looking forward to the most. But the lineup is good. I'm looking forward to it either way.
Little worried about the lines, though. I have NO idea how early we're planning to get there.

yeah. i'm expecting tons of parents to be there because i know that all the bands on the sellout tour have a younger fanbase than cobra starship. ftsk's base is pretty young, though.

Just wanted to say that I'll be one of those parents going to this tour on 11/19 in Cincinnati. :) I'll be taking my 15 & 16 year old daughters and their 16 year old best friend. one thing that I'm not sure has been mentioned yet, because I haven't been through the entire thread. In the encore, Alex played the "Inside of You" song that Aldis Snow plays in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. one of the funniest things I've seen, I love that movie so much.

i know that this isn't the right place to post it, but my band just got booked a show that is at the same venue this tour stopped at when in denver, and our music is similar, so yeah, i thought it would be ok. My band is playing at the gothic theater on sunday, feb 15th. If you live in denver, or anywhere near, please go! this is a dream come true for my band and it would be really nice to get as many people there for us as we can.

my band is called golden ticket and our myspace is myspace.com/wearegoldenticket. If you check us out, listen to "chasing sunsets" and "i miss you" (even though the vocals are a little shakey in this one. It's not professionally done, but we are re-recording soon. and please add us. i'm the bassist and feel free to add me too. just let me know who you are

i can't help but wonder how many people actually like the song circles or how many people just like it for the sake of liking an old all time low song. i don't think its a very good song at all.

if you do actually like it, more power to you. i was just thinking out loud.
