false, they bring out the bros and are terrible & generic and are what's wrong with music today...worst band on this tour and I don't really like any of them I like some ATL songs and a couple Mayday songs, and a few Maine songs before Fearless records ruined their career by signing them, but Every Avenue is just plain bad, one of the worst shows I've ever seen


P.S. also I cannot comprehend how ANYONE would choose to go to this tour over the Thrice/Alkaline Trio/Rise Against/The Gaslight Anthem tour...because I know a lot of people that had to choose between these 2 tours and chose the worst one, when tickets were basically the same price, that just shows the ignorance of the average present day music listener

And also agree about the pathetic crowds. I saw ATL with HTL and Valenica back in July because my girlfriend wanted me to go. And the crowd was HORRIBLE. 12 year old girls running around in dresses, yelling at people to move when there was absolutely no room for anybody to even move a hair because there was so many people (sold out). And then the 12 year old girls reaallly flip out when a bunch of dudes try and get a mosh going. However I did not care about the bitties and went about doing as much damage as possible to everything in my sight, so yeah I still ended up having fun. The crowd is mostly just annoying as fuck. This also could be because ATL is from here, so the hometown shows are crazy, but I could imagine it being like that everywhere.

I don't disagree but it's kind of hard to take someone seriously when they have Secondhand Serenade, The Rocket Summer and The Cab listed as "favorites" yet they pat themselves on the back for not liking other just-as-derivative bands (such as the ones on this tour).

and i've seen every band on this tour live, unfortunately, and not one of them has anything special about their live set, distinguishing them from each other. they all wear the same brands, have the same lame haircuts, and sound and look identical. i thought the same thing about the cab until i saw them live, and that's when i began to listen to their music. same with the rocket summer. their live shows are incredible, and pulled me in, and made me want to listen to them. i definitely can't say the same about this awful tour.

and i didn't say i don't like any bands that sound similar to others. just....not these bands, and definitely, not all together in one boring tour, hence why i wrote it in this thread, not in a thread about a tour featuring the cab, secondhand serenade, or the rocket summer. so don't put words in my mouth, saying that i "pat myself on the back" for anything.

Interesting thread. Saw a lot of comments I wanted to quote, but I am too lazy to quote all of them. First off this is almost the same exact tour as last winter tour atl went on, bands being the same, except just surrender isn't playing. Every Avenue wasn't bad live, not amazing but was enjoyable. Mayday Parade was amazing, then again I am a pretty big fan of them.

Lastly ATL, I am not a big big fan and usually do not stay the whole time at the show, however despite their immature comments on stage they put on a decent show.

And in regards to rise against, Rise against is playing this saturday in Mass and atl show is in late november, so that really isn't a factor here.

Just got back from the show and it was pretty good. every avenue and the maine blew but mayday did ok and all time low was great.

I don't remember the whole atl setlist buttttt they played circles and almost everything off put up or shut up which was awesome. Videos will be posted soon.

I was actually kind of impressed with this tour considering I saw it originally as manwhores and open sores (- maine + just surrender). And I wasn't at all impressed then.
But tonight was pretty good. All time low played alot of songs not on so wrong, old song, and a new song. Mayday Parade was pretty good too I guess it does make a difference if you know the songs, cause I knew a few of their songs which made the set much more enjoyable. Still don't understand the hype of the maine they were okay, I actually liked every avenue better.
I don't really remember any setlists but I am sure someone who was there knows it all.
Also All time low bought alot of new equipment or it seemed new when is saw them on the ap tour their equipment seemed normal. I think I saw them with a freaking 18 wheeler for their stuff this time and they have like a light show and everything was kinda cool.

Rian/Jack said they're most likely getting rid of Circles, and possibly Break Out and might replace it with Lions. When Zack/Rian told me before their set I'd be hearing Circles and "old jams I haven't heard in years" I instantly got excited. Although I go through phases where I feel like I'm not with this band anymore, they pull out a sick set, are always good dudes, and always pull off an awesome performances. This setlist cannot disappoint.

Saw them in little old highschool auditorium basically in my town, played right through the whole EP and honestly can't remember what else, but dammit was it good! i'm going with my friend to the show in orlando next weekend because she had an extra ticket. i'm looking forward to seeing mayday and every avenue, i don't really care for the maine or all time low that much. i saw mayday a while ago and it was a really fun show, but there were no screaming 14 year old fan girls so i'm not too sure what to expect now. not to mention i'm seeing jack's mannequin the night before this, so i doubt any of these bands will live up to that.

every avenue impressed me when i saw them at warped tour. they're definitely one of the best bands in this "scene" i think. the lead singer is actually pretty decent, and i really like their album. i wish they weren't last on the billing.

ughh, really? that sucks. i have seen them twice before, three times if you include the video shoot for "when i get home" and they seem to have gotten worse each time, hah. the setlist sucks because i haate black cat, so that's a waste of a song..and then i could live without the EP songs as well, just because they always do them.

I've seen all time low, they played most of the same songs they usually do. The Maine played some of the same song they played on soundtrack to your summer tour, but some new ones.

Mayday parade, was awesome as always they are such a good band and do not sound like the others, i don't even see how you could think that.

Every avenue is a band that not many people like but i happenn to think they put on a really good show. Some of their songs are boring, but they have 4 or 5 that i really like and they played them all except for that song thats like "and i don't know why, i don't need a reason" i don't even know the name of that song haha.

So I just went to the Orlando show, Everyone has posted set-lists already so ill just give my .02$

Every Avenue seemed pretty ok, the middle school girls were really into them

The Maine actually sounded really good, which was surprising for me because I liked some of their songs but figure they were like a metro station live, were surprised and happy with that one.

Mayday Parade sounded amazing, and played amazing. This was one of the best sets from them ive seen from them. Could of been that they were excited to finally play HOB in orlando, idk.

All Time Low was by the far the BEST I've ever seen them. again. lolz. Alex sounded really good and their set-list with circles and most of the EP was AMAZING!!! and their stage lighting was pretty legit, they really look like a headlining act, but still with the jokes inbetween the same as always. Except this time they were like fucking with their tech and making jokes and shit about him.

So this show would of been one of my best, if not the millions of little girls. Seriously ATL's crowd is getting younger and younger everytime i see them. And all these girls just wanna record shit and tell their friends, i almost punched the girl in front of mayday for doing it because she kept pushing me out of the way to tell her friend she got a recording.

Yeah, Derek's vocals were low, I wonder if it's supposed to be that way or there was a problem with the microphone but I don't remember them being low like that on the Emery tour or at Warped.

the show in orlando the other night was great! like i said a while back, i really only went to see every avenue and mayday parade (both of which played amazing sets btw) but i was impressed with the maine and all time low as well. not going to lie... i kind of expected the maine to be horrible based on what i've heard of them, but they put on a very decent show! i was kind of bored by the music itself, but they don't suck live.

we stood on the ground floor until after mayday performed, but i really could not take any more pushy 13 year olds... so we went to watch ATL's set from upstairs. we met the guitarist from every avenue by the merch table, and then talked to the lead singer outside for a little while. they are really cool guys! i was glad to see the crowd was getting into them, since a lot of them didn't seem to know who they were up until that point.

the only thing i would have liked to have seen was mayday playing "three cheers" acoustic instead. i love that song but i've never been a fan of the original version, only the acoustic one.

Amazing show tonight. Could've done without the 14 year olds and their parents but I'll live. All Time Low's set was amazing. Perfect mix of songs in my opinion. If you can catch this tour DO IT!

Halloween show in San Diego was a blast.

Lead singer from Every Avenue, I don't know what he was supposed to be but it looked like Trace Cyrus with an afro. Also had a "pregnant" drummer, a redneck complete with Hooters shirt (sleeveless, of course) and mullet wig, a homicidal maniac in a hockey mask, and a dude who forgot to wear a costume so he wore a jack-o-lantern shirt.

Singer from The Maine came out wearing a British flag speedo with dollar bills hanging out of it (and made $2 from the crowd, apparently) as his stripper costume. Drummer was wearing a French Maid dress someone dared him to wear at their Wet Seal in-store, bassist was wearing a little kid's Transformers costume, one guitarist was Sgt. Pepper era John Lennon, the other was wearing yellow rain slickers as (I'm assuming) a sailor.

Mayday Parade all color co-ordinated their stage clothes and painted their faces to be different Batman characters... we had Batman, Robin, Riddler, Two Face, and of course Joker.

All Time Low... Rian was a cop, Zack was a I think a Nascar driver, Jack was wearing one-piece longjohns and a hockey mask, and Alex was Kenickie from Grease (or he may have been trying to be Danny, but he looked like Kenickie). One of their techs was a banana.

No clue who this was but during Every Avenue someone walked onstage dressed as Jesus. Someone ran out and pretended to jazzercize at one point, and during ATL (I'm blanking on what song) Mayday Parade and Every Avenue came running out in tightie-whities and started dancing. Techs were throwing candy and stuff into the crowd. It was kind of mayhem, but I think everyone was thinking "It's Halloween, who gives a shit". Definitely fun.

ATL is still playing the shortened set, which kind of sucked... Alex played "half" of a new song before "Remembering Sunday" that I really liked, the lyrics were really strong and I hope it makes the new record next year.

mayday does not play one man drinking games. thats a fucking old song off the EP. they never play that song..I think on the tour with Emery though they switched every other night between that and You be the Anchor. But they dont play it on this tour..trust me i saw it 3 times.
