a wierd situation

alright so the story goes like this. i have spent the past five or sixth months hanging out with this girl. i, like an idiot, didn't keep my distance and started to really like this girl. its hard not to, shes the closest thing to one of the type of girls you find in a movie that there is around here. i didn't even know i cared about her, until she told me she liked my best friend. it was at that moment where it felt like my whole body had just dyed that i realized how much i like a her. well as a joke and because we want to take advatange of this holiday marketed by greeting card companys, we decided to be each others valentines. this is just a friends thing, and she made this very clear. i plan to make her a mix cd and get her a couple other stupid things, but she is into more of the mainstream music. i don't want to put it right out there and scare her, but i want her to get the idea that i am into her. i figure what the hell, its about time i took a risk on something so why not it be her. music hits people like that, i swear to it. so far i have "all for you" by sister hazel, "only one" by yellowcard(her favorite song), and then some joke rap kind of wierd love songs. any help would be greatly appreciated, and sorry to post this here, but i look to everyone here because they are far more intelligent than me and i can't seem to be able to control my own life. thank you for listening to my shitty story and thank you if you can help.
