I just rented this game, and its freaking great. I never beat Substance, but so far this game is just as amazing. Its like playing a damn movie, ugh....so great.

Anyone else play it yet?

Dude, let me tell you, this game is sick as hell. Just tonight I beat the sniper battle with The End, and it took me like an hour to beat.....one of the best moment of gaming in my opinion.

I got it right when it came out and played it nonstop. The game is awesome. I made it all the way to the very end where you fight the Boss in a field of flowers and then I think I got busy and I haven't played it since. I need to go back and beat that. I did the same thing with Vice City - played it all the time, then made it to the very last mission and all of a sudden stopped playing and never came back to it. I don't know why.

That game was so good. Blows MGS2 away. I don't know if it's better than MGS, but it's close. The End is the best boss battle I've ever played.

Agreed. It's much more fun if you do it fair. Lots of people track his footsteps or tranq him, which I think makes it much less fun.

I would just bait him to take a shot at me, then go to the map and see where he last was and go after him. It's awesome when you sneak up on him and he doesn't notice. I unloaded on him every time. Even though it's the most slow paced boss battle I've ever played, it was still the most tense. Especially after he came out of nowhere and was behind me and shot me in the back of the head. Usually when he does that, you get captured and sent to that prison and have to backtrack to the battle and do it all over. But luckily I fell off a cliff after he shot me, and I was still alive. The rest of the battle (probably a good half hour) I was so nervous. It was easily one of the best experiences I've had playing a game.
