Well, that means you are trying too hard. I managed to get through three years (all B's mind you) with learning very little.
Any specifics.
Here's a phrase for you:
hic est stercorosus (spelling might be a little off, it's been 5 years).

You say that now, but then you realize that Latin isn't all that useful. If you really need to know what something means, just carry around a Latin-English dictionary (or steal one from the teacher like I did).
Dude, do you know how much poon tang you get when you know latin? It's like moths to a lightbulb. I kid you not.
Then again I don't know latin...

It sucks ass. If I was better at foreign languages I would've liked it more. It's the most complicated language that is commonly taught in high schools and colleges. It helps with the SATs a little bit. I took it like five years ago when I was in high school. It's okay. I don't recommend it unless you're good at foreign languages.

I'm taking my third and probably my last year of latin. Its helped with the spelling in French even though its my mother tongue and its helped in German for the structure and cases. Otherwise it hasnt done much to me yet.

surely it is if you want to have any kind of understanding of language at all? if you think about it, italian, french, spanish, english and more all derrived from latin. i don't know, i just think it's interesting to find links between words of different languages or origins. etymology and all that shit.
that's what happens when you become an english language student.
