When I was younger is when the Jaguars were first in the league. I fell in love with Mark Brunell and loved the Jags. I liked them even more then the Steelers back then. When he left and went to Washington, my heart left J-Ville too. Though Brunell only had moderate success there, my love for the Skins still remains. Brunell went to New Orleans this year, for whatever reason, my feelings for him didn't leave Washington.

The titans don't blow teams out, they never have. we have a great defense to go with a good running game and effective passing game. we have leaders and youth on this team. we're in the top 5 in the afc in points forced and top 2 in points allowed. we have one of the best red zone percentages in the nfl. we lead the league in interceptions and up there in sacks.
I realize we're not a powerhouse football team like everyone's been used to with the colts and pats the past few years, and if you're saying we're not there, then i agree, but don't try to take away credit from a team who's played great football all year long so far.

The one on the touchdown drive was the unnecessary roughness on the out of bounds play. to me that was nearly as bad of a call, finnegan had the guy in his arms and pushed him down, it wasn't a hard play, it wasn't a dirty play, it was a cheap call. that lead to our d yelling at eacother, getting distracted and allowing a touchdown.
did they catch a break during their final touchdown drive? yes, but that play happened around the 50 yard line, it's not like it was an easy touchdown after that. we marched down the field and scored on a team that's held us in check all day. fuck anyone who thinks thats a cheap or lucky win, that's football, things happen. and if those same things didn't happen to them one or even two of those scores wouldn't even be on the board for the ravens.

dropped passes made me wake up my dorm hall, but if you ask me the main reason we lost that game is because we had brian williams benched for that james guy. how could we not see immediately that williams is a far better corner? they wouldnt have had those 300 yards and 20 points in the first half if we had an experienced corner on that passing game. and then we wouldnt have to worry about playing catchup against a prevent defense with undependable wideouts.

and anyone can blame injuries, like the 4 in our defense and the 3 on our offensive line, but thats part of any season, so a loss is a loss.

we really shouldnt have gone for it on that early 4th & 7 either, we were well within scobee's range. that could have cut the pressure down for the end of the game too -- its a lot easier to make it to field goal range than to the endzone cuase garrard can just run that distance. thats the best way he can pick apart a prevent defense IMO, its how we win games in the end usually. but the end zone is just too far.

I pretty much agree. Just at that stage, it seemed ticky tacky. Same with the taunting on Jax. Didnt see anything, so he must have said something. I'd rather just let them play. These guys taunt after every single tackle with their excessive celebrations so to penalize them seems trivial.

oh my god, i just saw the highlights of the Titans/Ravens -- so it looks like it might have been the worst officiated game ever, only because everyone was fighting with everyone.

That wasn't a lucky win, that's just survival. What an ugly football game.

both taunting flags were deserved. it's very well known that you can't do anything to show somebody up, and both flags came after somebody did just that.

the roughing the passer call was bullshit though. there was no time to stop, he hit him just as he released the ball.

but every game has a call or two that is questionable, so it's pointless to bitch about them. it's a part of the game, and the good teams can overcome crap calls. i thought they did a great job officiating last night though. the game was brutal, and they pretty much let them play. only the one call was questionable to me, but i understand why it was called.
