i did a search of this forum and didn't find a thread on them, so here goes.

anyone else been hearing that fred durst is the lead singer? i've ehard that from at least a dozen people. but when i looked up the band, he clearly isnt.

I went to a festival where NFG was playing a couple sets after them. They came on stage and said, "I can't believe we're playing with New Found Glory today. I'm really pissed off about that. We're going to show them what metal is all about." Then NFG came on stage and made jokes about them the whole time. "Everybody give it up for Five Finger Donkey Punch. They are awesome." All throughout their set the 5FDP fans stayed and threw beer bottles at them the whole time. After a few songs, everybody was throwing bottles even if they were NFG fans. Ian hopped on the mic and said, "Well at least all these beer bottles are stage now instead of that shitty metal band." It was a good time.
