Where does everyone work? I'm at work right now and I'm bored, so I'm making a "where do you work" topic so other people at work can complain about thier jobs.

Mine's not so bad. I work the front desk at the nicest hotel in town. It's a pretty sweet job. I stand at the desk and play on the internet, and greet people, and answer phones, and make reservations. Stuff like that. That was alot of "and"s.

I have to dress really nice, though. Nice dress pants, dress shoes, white button up shirt, and tie. Of course, it gives me an excuse to buy cool ties. I'm wearing a bright pink one with blue and white stripes. Whoo!

The only problems are my feet hurt and anytime there's a problem, the guests yell at me.

That sounds like a really cool job, I work in a clothes shop and fix computers on the side.

We should also say what we want to do in the future. Right now I'm at University studying to be a Computer Games Designer and thats what I hope to do one day.

I intern for Repossession Records and I'm interviewing tomorrow to teach Elementary school kids at an after-school program. It should be fun, pays great too.

I work at a medical device company doing stuff in their Clinical Trials dept. It's a lot of stuff dealing with the data from the FDA trials for their new pacemakers and other devices, so I'm pretty much plopped in front of a computer all day.

As for the future, I have this job to hold me off until I can get myself into medical school. I'm trying to be a surgeon. I don't specifically know which area yet, but I do know I want to be in surgery.

i work at a huge hospital here in Milwaukee. Im a medical transcriptionist assistant. it pays damn good for not doing a whole lot. plus it helps with my major..once i graduate i can just transfer positions in the hospital.

Its a fast food Italian restaurant...freaking stupid. Its fast food, but takes about 10-15 minutes to get your food sometimes, haha. I have been there for two years, terrible.

As for the future...something in music, im out of highschool, starting college next year and looking to do something in radio to start.

because i'm only 16, i dont have a great job.
i work as a party host for a little kids soft play centre. the boss treats you like shit bit i have to deal with it because this is my first official job.
on the side, i do graphic design and web design for my uncles antenna business and my mums bookkeeping business.
this year i am going to TAFE (like university/college) and i'm doing my first certificate in information and technology. then i'm going on to do certificate IV in web design and then my diploma. i should be finished that by the time i am 17/18. then i hope i can get a job somewhere i actually like.

I have the same job but mine is worse. I work at a Gym on a Marine base, no matter how stupid you are you can still be a marine and it shows. Shitty job but It's an easy $9.00 p/h. I hope to go to college at UNLV a year from now and then I'll work at one of the casinos as a Bellhop or Valet.

This past summer and this one coming up I work as an usher at Blossom Music Center, which is this amphiteater in my city that has big concerts there. Ive been Blink play there 4 times, and this past summer they had Ozzfest and a bunch of others there that I worked at. Right now I have basically the same job with the same boss but were ushering basketball games for my school.

I work for the Department of the Army. They are paying me to get my MBA right now. Eventually, I will work for army logistics or reserach and development. Most of my classes are online so I sit at home and watch tv all day. I really need to be writing a paper at the moment, but I got frustrated and took a break.

For some reason I think your job is ALITTLE more important than mine haha. Thumbs up though, thats actually pretty sweet. I just inform people on Theodore Roosevelt and that time period in America. I am defined as an "Interpreter, Historian, Ranger" my three titles. Basically like I said just answer moronic questions (for the most part, some people are actually cool to talk to).

I wanted to be a park ranger when I was in college...it seems like a pretty chill job. They were going to make me take out all my piercings so I declined. . I removed the obvious ones for this job... I was hired with my nostril and about 5 unusual ear piercings and so far, no one has said anything.

They goverment does pay well though :)
