The shit with the Keyboard dude is funny and spot on.. I don't really like this band but they are amazing live. So much damn energy. I saw them twice with Chiodos and they pwned them both times. Chiodos wad still very good though. I have to agree out the mad silly preaching. I have seen a few christian bands before and they say nothing or just a sentence or two about Jesus. These dudes ramble on about it forever when they play shows.

I usually don't attack bands like this but I don't understand how you can hate this band and not Scary Kids Scaring Kids. There isn't many differences when it comes to those two bands except for TDWP being heavier. I've seen each band live 3+ times and TDWP performs much better than SKSK did each of those times. I don't hate Scary Kids but I'm just saying how I feel about them, they just aren't anything special live.

They don't preach like that at every show, It was just said briefly the times I have seen them and he didn't say anything about everyone in the crowd being followers of Jesus but I do remember him saying one time that it's okay to believe anything you want to believe and he would respect that. I saw what you said and the SKSK keyboardist does the same shit as well, hits a few keys every song and runs around on the stage like a maniac, and besides that video is a few years old they've definitely improved their stage performance.

Well, essentially you just said that deja entendu bores you, when all this band does is play breakdowns which is probably the most boring thing I've ever heard. Beyond that, Brand New are excellent songwriters and the devils wear prada are pretty bad at pretty much everything.

I think we all have our personal tastes. I guess your more lyrically inclined, I personally really like breakdowns (I play in a hardcore band lol). And I know I've read TDWP's lyrics...it's soooo awful lol

TDWP, DDG, Alesana, A Skylit Drive, they're all terrible. Even A Day To Remember ruins their potential with generic cookie-monster growls. There's still some creativity in the genre (burden of a day and our last night are good) but it's dying fast...

yeah i like TDWP quite a bit, but they are far from my favorite. there are much better bands like The Chariot, Norma Jean, Haste The Day, War Of Ages, As I Lay Dying....i mean the list goes on for a while. at least in my opinion.
that last sentence i meant, it seems like it is really cool to hate on "Christian Metalcore," and that so many people on this website do it. so i hope that helps a little.

Actually I dislike it because most Christan metal/pop/rock whatever is just a shitty knockof of another group. The majority of bands on Solid State are Norma Jean/ Underoath rip offs The Christan message does not bother me. For example I love Underoath even the early stuff which is very explicit in its message. Also the stupidest thing is why have unitelligeble lyrics if you are supposed to be talking about Jesus? How goddamned stupid is that? Basically fuck Christian music I hate it (except for Underoath).
