Circa Survive (www.circasurvive.com)'s new disc will be titled: Juturna and it is totally finished. It will be released worldwide on April 19th through Equal Vision (www.equalvision.com). The band also have some tours coming up...you can read the full update in the replies.

"Hello again. All apologies for leaving you in the dark for so long. We have been extremely busy. Our record, titled "Juturna", is finished and we are extremely proud of how it turned out. It will be released worldwide on the 19th of April by Equal Vision Records.

We leave for our tour with Lucero, North Star, and The Honorary Title in about a week. After that, we will do a few dates with Tsunami Bomb followed by a month with Gatsby's American Dream and Bear Vs. Shark. We can't wait to see everyone. We will have a limited edition EP for these dates that will feature two songs from the album, a b-side and the handshakes at sunrise demo. We are also confirmed for the Bamboozle in Asbury Park, NJ. I think I will probably enjoy the CD, I dunno if it will be AMAZING but I am looking forward to it.

I dunno but I think anthony's voice is more fitted to pop than screamo or space rock (or whatever u call it), although he does each style well anyways. The songs/demos released so far are ok...but we'll see what some mastering does.

I looked up juturna by the way, sorry if anyone knew this already, but i thought I'd paste it anyways:.

In Roman mythology, Juturna was the goddess of fountains, wells and springs. She was a sister of Turnus and supported him against Aeneas. She was also the mother of Fontus by her husband, Janus.

Jupiter turned her into a nymph and gave her a sacred well in Lavinium, Latium, as well as another one near the temple to Vesta in the Forum Romanum. The second well was called Lacus Juturnae.

Juturna had an affair with Jupiter but the secret was betrayed by a nymph named Lara, whom Jupiter struck with muteness as punishment.

Haha, you saved me from it. When I first saw the thread, the italics kinda made it look like "Jutuma" so I thought that was kinda strange... opened the thread and saw it was Juturna, still thought it was fairly strange, but the definition clears it up a bit.

i just hope that amp up the volume on his vocs...i mean in saosin it's really nice and clear, but in the circa survive stuff that i have so far ...it's like why is he whispering...he's awesome...and he should hook back up with drummer from Weezer to do a whole cd, because that song rocks out...
