"February 02, 2005 - Booka!
So we're not quite half way through the US tour (currently in Syracuse) and it's going super good. Most of the shows have been selling out so thanks to all the kids for coming out.

We wanted to say sorry to the kids who came to the Baltimore show and were dissapointed with only 4 songs... here's what happened.

Some kid was fuckin around in the pit and so 4 security guards grabbed him and pulled out. I guess the kid and bitten a few of the security guards trying to get away so they hit him repeatedly with Mag-Lights till blood was everywhere. They somehow didn't think that was doing the trick so they pepper sprayed him and everyone else around him in the process. So then the club was filled with pepper spray and no one could breathe so everyone ran out of the club. Our tour manager ran on stage and told us to stop playing and told us what happened and that was the end of the show.

At least we got a few of the security guards fired... sorry to everyone but we'll be back soon and buy ice cream for everyone :) sike."---EighteenVisions.com

I don't know the entire story, but I don't think the security guards are at fault here. This kid sounds like the stereotypical asshole that you encounter at shows that ruins it for everyone...

man, these guys are a rip off of snapcase. if you dont know who snapcase is, check them out...they're not a band anymore but these guys rip them off brutally and blatantly

Snapcase are an amaizng band with a very diffrent sound, but i can def see what u mean about Snapcase.

My thoughts exactly. More and more of them keep coming out of the woodwork. Soon bands won't play shows anymore because of them.

at the risk of loosing all scene points haha...didnt these kids deserve this just for going to an eighteen visions show...personally if the show got cut short id be happy. 18v is horrendous.

i think so too, but i mean, it says the pepper spray was in the air and spread throughout the venue. that must have been a lot of pepper spray. at least blame the guards for that much.

i dont really like the baltimore scene but come on the show was with remembering never and misery signals so you should expect there to be moshing and since 18v sucks now, people are going to be dicks. they used to be one of the sickest metalcore bands around a few years ago and before, but when you change that much you have to expect some people to not like what your current sound is.

long story short. shows like this have moshing and fighting and security guards need to not be such dicks.
