Last night at the Epitaph Tour kick-off in Cincinnati, I talked to Jon from The Matches (http://www.thematches.com) who said they were looking at releasing the new record in the months after they finished Warped Tour, probably late August. They played two new songs that remained untitled.

i was at that show. they said before the show that they were going to play a few new songs, excluding "shoot me in the smile" (their new song that most people have heard at their shows in the last few months); however during the show they only 'new' song they played WAS "shoot me in the smile". all the rest were off their cd

haha i was there... idk what happened but the lead singer took out the other guitarist, it was the best part of their performance

the dekalb show last night rocked. well, motion city did, i love their show... matchbook romance..well the singer sucked ass. ...FFTL, well some girl in the crowd told them they sucked on the mic, then the guitarist told her she was a fat ugly bitch, i was indifferent. I missed the matches cuz i got there and there were hot girls outside and i thought scatter the ashes were playing first. Damn.
