Well, if you've heard it, what do you think?

I think it's definitely unlike anything they've done before, but I'm not sure I like it all that much.

It's not bad, for sure, but I don't think they achieved exactly what they were trying to achieve with a new sound. I don't think the sounds meld well enough--things just seem thrown in for the sake of it, which is kind of disappointing.

But I'll give it a few more listens just to be sure...

I didn't even realize it was out there yet. I haven't really read anything about it, so I have no idea what this new sound you're talking about is. Could you describe it a little? I wasn't too crazy about their first album, but I thought the second one was amazing. Does the new one continue getting darker and heavier and weirder, or is it a retreat to the faggy piano whining of the first album, or something completely different than either?
