i need some help

ok..i have this really close close friend. we have been best friends since we were like 5. we tell each other everything...at least i thought. She just started dating this guy..and he doesnt really pay any attention to her. She gets really really depressed over it..but she wont dump him. To get to the point...i think she is cutting herself. i see her with these strange cutes all over her arm! sometimes on her wrist. i asked her about them and she just says that she fell, or hit her arm on something. I really really doubt that is what it is. they are like slice marks, like clean cuts, not like an accidental cut. I talked to her about it...saying that i thought i knew what she was really doing, and she like wouldnt answer..which made me even more suspisious. i really dont know what to do! she wont talk to me about it, and i dont want her to hurt herself. anyone got advice? :(

yeah, well it's all downhill from there. so maybe she is doing the right thing by killing herself? i mean, it's not gonna become easier. she gave life an honest attempt, no shame in losing. If you're her friend you should encourage and support her in her choices. even if that is hurting/killing herself. Or are you a bad friend?

o um..thank you for the advice..i guess. But i now that i most deffinatly will not support her killing herself! and by not supporting that doesn't mean that im a bad friend...it means im not an idiot. Im not going to tell my best friend to go kill herself. But thank you anyways

Now it might just be me, but that sounds mighty selfish! maybe you should take the time to wonder what SHE might want and care about that, huh? If you're a good friend you should support her and think about what SHE wants, not just yourself. Her life, her choice.
