This is what keeps us young
Our inability to do what our father's have done
Twenty Five is the the new eighteen
quarter life and college degrees
but still clueless as kids on just what to be
(don't know what to do, who knows what to do?)
Another night at the same bar
drunken decisions on who will drive my car
Back at her place, i don't know her name
looked into the mirror and I'm still the same
I promised and promised but I haven't changed.
Go into her room and she's waiting for me
look deep in her eyes, then get up and leave
this growing up just ain't for me

Dont know anyone back at my school
when i return i look like the fool
cause noone knows just what i went through
we miss it so much but nobody knew
knew what we'd miss and who we'd be missing
and forgetting the girls, the girls we were kissing
